Maybelline Age Rewind – quick comparison

Today I received the much anticipated (by me) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer. Everyone raves about it so I had to try, but the Maybelline range is of limited availability in Belgium. I also could not find the shade 01 fair in online UK shops so I got this one from a US seller.

I selected… no selection. These are all my concealers. If Benefit’s lemon aid can also be considered a concealer, I only thought so after I had laid everything out and taken images, so there is one extra with it as an afterthought.

So this is the line-up:

Clinique airbrush concealer in 01 fair
MAC Studio conceal and correct in Pale yellow / pale pink
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in 110 fair
Bourjois healthy mix concealer in 51 light radiance
Lancôme effacernes in 01 beige pastel
Essence soft touch mousse concealer in 10 soft beige
Kryolan cream color circle in Lovel

Afterthought:
Benefit lemon aid

Swatched on N10 skin. I will leave this here with no further comment beyond a few words.

I tried it on undereye after removing my makeup and I like it as far as I can tell. The texture is light but not drying and quite opaque. It is light enough (at least at this time of year) to brighten the eye area without too much ashiness. The texture seems great but I think I may have to powder straight away. I need to test it for a good while before I make up my mind, so… I will write again.
